Regulatory Readiness Specialist - Risk Management

Location: Apple Valley, CA

Work Schedule: Full Time - 80 Biweekly Hours

Shift: 8-hour, Days

The Regulatory Readiness Specialist supports the ministry through the management and improvement of system-wide processes related to organizational surveys and regulatory readiness activities. The Regulatory Readiness Specialist assumes responsibility for all aspects of site inspection including pre-survey preparation through post-inspection follow-up of corrective actions needed. The Regulatory Readiness Specialist exercises independent judgment and discretion within agreed upon limitations and takes actions as needed based on knowledge of the organization, its policies, procedures, and personnel.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree

  • Coursework/Training - Environmental orientation within 30 days of hire.

  • 3 years Recent experience in an acute care hospital setting.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Coursework/Training - Graduate of accredited healthcare program.

  • Certificate in Healthcare Accreditation and/or Healthcare Quality.
