Providence Communication Director in Burbank, California

Description

Providence is calling a Communication Director who will:

  • Support the strategic communication needs at a region level

  • Serve as a key strategic partner with regional executive and senior leadership, overseeing communication efforts for delivering consistent, clear messaging to all caregivers and external stakeholders regarding the organization's strategic priorities and major organizational initiatives

  • Work closely with the Chief Communication Officer

  • Be responsible for messaging and communication support to all Providence Community Boards

  • Work closely with executive Communication leadership to ensure communication programs and messaging are fully aligned and delivered to both internal and external stakeholders

This position is considered to be a Hybrid role working a combination of in office / work from home week over week. Providence welcomes residents to apply that live within a commutable distance of our office locations listed below:

  • Southern California : Burbank, Los Angeles, Tarzana, Santa Monica

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Directs strategy, planning and execution for the following all major internal and external strategic communication initiatives

  • Works closely with organizational communication leadership and teams to ensure consistent, aligned communication strategies and implementation across all regional operations

  • Reinforce and grow the internal “brand voice” of Providence through consistent, proactive communication sharing, and formal caregiver (employee)-engagement programs and activities

  • Provide ongoing strategic communication counsel and support for region Sr. Management teams and individuals

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, business or related field -OR- a combination of equivalent education and/or experience

  • 10 or more years experience in a marketing role (Communications is preferred)
