Providence is calling a Patient Safety Program Manager to Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA.
In this position you will:
Under the direction of the Dir. Of Quality & Risk Mgmt, the Patient Safety Program Manager assists to design, implement and evaluate the patient safety program.
Using assessment tools and patient safety data, the Program Manager assists in identifying and implementing improvement initiatives in collaboration with the quality improvement department.
The Program Manager will analyze clinical processes, identify potential risks for patients and develop strategies to maximize safety, effectiveness and efficiency.
The Program Manager assists with the education regarding patient safety, and assists with influencing leaders to achieve measurable improvements in patient safety that will support the sustainability of reductions in medical/healthcare errors and other factors that contribute to unintended adverse patient outcomes.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Healthcare related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in an acute care hospital
Minimum 2 years of patient safety experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare related field
Current California Registered Nurse License or other healthcare equivalent
Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS)
