We are seeking a Senior CI Operations Specialist - Budget Reporting who will:

  • Be proficient in levels 1 and 2 job responsibilities

  • Implement and manage processes and programs of large scope and high complexity within the Clinical Informatics Pillar

  • Manage all aspects of assigned programs and projects

  • Ensure programs and projects are planned and executed in a collaborative and efficient manner

  • Have goals and objectives that are in alignment with Clinical Informatics priorities and strategic objectives

  • Drive diverse teams towards desired outcomes

  • Facilitate cross-team and cross-customer collaboration and therefore will be required to lead through influence and to work skillfully with people, processes, and technology

  • Work closely with counterparts and stakeholders across Providence to ensure that Clinical Informatics Programs and Projects are delivering the desired results with high quality

  • Author reports, perform data analytics, and create and deliver presentations to leaders and stakeholders

  • Be accountable for analyzing, interpreting, and resolving operational issues related to their assigned programs and must possess a tolerance for ambiguity as well as willingness and ability to take on challenging and complex assignments

  • Perform all duties in a manner that promotes a multidisciplinary team concept

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage planning and execution of diverse and complex Clinical Informatics projects, initiatives, and programs

  • Develop process maps and recommends process improvements to support increased efficiencies

  • Manage the intake, processing, and fulfillment of pillar level project and resource requests

  • Perform data collection and analysis to monitor program/project progress, and to identify operational trends, gaps, compliance issues, and improvement opportunities

  • Develop and manages program and project tools, communications, including regular program updates and project status reports

  • Prepare and delivers presentations to caregivers and core leaders

  • Perform administrative tasks as needed, e.g. prepare presentations, prepare documents, organize meetings, and miscellaneous items related to assigned program or project needs

  • Act as a coach and mentor and may direct the work of levels 1 and 2 caregivers

  • Ability to effectively build relationships with customers, executive management and other stakeholders through positive interaction, problem identification and resolution


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Project or Process Management, Business or Clinical Operations, or Information Technology and or a combination of equivalent education and experience

  • 6 years of experience in roles focused on Communications, Reporting and Data Analytics, Process Development, Process Improvement, Program / Project Management, or Business Operations

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Experience managing projects

  • Working with process improvement methodologies such as CAP, Six Sigma or Lean

  • Making formal and informal presentations to senior and executive management and key stakeholders

  • Developing and modifying business processes (e.g., workflow redesign, change management, standard work)
