Providence Finance Partner PSJH in California
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Finance Partner PSJH. This position works 100% remotely and candidates for this role may live anywhere in Alaska, Washington, Montana, Oregon or California.
We are seeking a Finance Partner to be an advisor to Technology Leadership with a focus on driving financial improvement within the organization and providing accurate JIT financial dashboards. Assists key decision makers in forming an objective and accurate view of operations and services and opportunities by driving JIT reporting capabilities, analyzing financial information, interpreting trends and metrics. Completes various projects related to the measurement, forecast and reporting of critical financial results.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Drive financial reporting strategy, evolve/maintain key financial reports and KPI dashboards for the overall technology spend (PBI, Microsoft Products)
Develop budgets, long-range financial plan and annual budget.
Responsible for LRP and budget assumptions.
Develop financial plans in line with strategies to achieve PSMS goals and objectives
Be an Advisor to senior leadership including VP, Sr Dir and other management team.
Partnership with leaders in proactive development of financial analytic materials and methodologies.
Develop insights that support key decision-makers through critical research and analysis of operational areas such as resource utilization, organizational structure, and work methods/procedures.
Interpret business trends and metrics to assist key decision makers in forming an objective view of operations, services and opportunities.
Conduct studies, productivity analyses, and surveys to identify areas for financial improvement.
Represent PSMS Financial Planning and Analysis on work groups and acts as a lead contact for system office financial information for entity personnel.
Develop and provide training to leadership teams and managers regarding budget reporting, metrics and related information. Facilitates education sessions either in a one-on-one environment or in large groups in person or via web.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare related discipline or equivalent education/experience.
6 years analytical & business experience in financial analysis, accounting or related discipline.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree in Health Administration, Public Health, or Business Administration.
Preference given to incumbents with prior experience as senior financial analysts, who have demonstrated a strong ability to partner with leadership.
