We are seeking an Operational Analyst Modernization who will:

  • Be responsible for ensuring new service lines, applications, tools, or Epic optimizations or upgrades are reviewed from an operational perspective to ensure workflows, processes and implementation requirements are evaluated

  • Represent Cash Applications function at growth and expansion events, to ensure the Cash Applications requirements are communicated and required changes are planned and implemented

  • Ensure changes are tested and issues escalated so that Cash Applications core functions are stable and optimized and capable of delivering core services

  • Identify opportunities for modernization and optimization and ensure Cash Application requirements are communicated and an appropriate response delivered

  • Provide general troubleshooting and support including business analysis support to resolve complex issues impact service delivery

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring new service lines, applications, tools, or Epic optimizations or upgrades are reviewed from an operational perspective to ensure workflows, processes and implementation requirements are evaluated

  • Represent Cash Applications function at growth and expansion events, to ensure the Cash Applications requirements are communicated and required changes are planned and implemented. Investigates, resolves, and performs follow up tasks on system and related problems

  • Be instrumental in helping the organization accept and stabilize the Epic, MEDITECH (or other) solution from an operational perspective, and be a part of any pre-go live project/work group

  • Be responsible to understand and refine the prescribed work flows, policies and procedures, as well as become familiar with the functional workings of the Epic (or other assigned) software

  • Able to act in a lead role representing Cash Applications as it applies to end user specifications for new application features, customizations or other programming/design considerations

  • Is able to anticipate business needs and articulate this to appropriate technical resources or the application Vendor

  • Ensure changes are tested and issues escalated so that Cash Applications core functions are stable and optimized and capable of delivering core services

  • Fully accountable for testing new software releases and other enhancements to their Primary applications in coordination with OneIS

  • Can assist with testing on secondary applications or act as the fully accountable Analyst if needed

  • Provide documentation to leadership to assist in any needed updates to policy and procedure

  • Produce and maintain specific documentation for all primary supported applications

  • Documentation to include information necessary to fully support application that is not included in the Vendor provided application documentation

  • Shares this documentation with end-user groups as appropriate

  • Proactively identifies and implements enhancements and improvements to our use of ORC technology solutions in a way that demonstrates documented operational improvement

  • Perform lead/coordination role in the evaluation, selection and implementation of new technology, system changes and optimizations as well as work process changes

  • Identify opportunities for modernization and optimization and ensure Cash Applications requirements are communicated and an appropriate response delivered

  • Provide general troubleshooting and support including business analysis support to resolve complex issues impact service delivery

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or related areas of study and or a combination of equivalent education/experience

  • 5 years' experience in healthcare, revenue cycle or finance

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • 3 years application support or operational or business analysis experience
