Polysomnographer - Respiratory and Pulmonary Therapy

Location: Fullerton, CA

Work Schedule: On Call/ Per Diem

Shift: 8-hour, Days

The Polysomnographic Technologist (PSGT) works under the supervision of the Sleep Disorders Center Manager and Lead Polysomnographic Technologist. The PSGT works independently during the night and conducts overnight polysomnographic testing. The PSGT safely operates sophisticated medical equipment used to record sleep/wake physiology, explains procedures, prepares patients and applies recording devices. The PSGT monitors polygraph recordings, audio/visual equipment to ensure patient safety, test quality, sleep/wake data and other physiological events.

Required qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training - 6 months of training in accredited polysomnographer certificate program, or 6 months experience working as a polysomnographer.

  • Current BLS.
