We are seeking a program manager to manage the multi-faceted education portfolio for the Institute for Human Caring (Institute). This position is responsible for providing program leadership support to the Institute and to local, regional and system-level ministry partners. The position fills a key position as a strategic business partner to expand whole person care throughout the PSJH enterprise by providing robust education and training programs to equip caregivers and providers in communicating with patients and families around goal aligned care through shared decision making and ensuring that the care provided is the best care possible. This position works closely with and collaborates with Institute leadership and program managers within the Institute, in particular Integration and the Palliative Practice Group as well as leaders at the local, regional and health system level.
The position will perform all duties in a manner that promotes project team success and reflects the PSJH mission, vision and values.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Under the general direction of the Director of Education, provide program leadership of the education portfolio for the Institute
Manage education and training events
Develop and refine education/training curriculum and materials
Develop collaterals related to education and training
Develop and implement methods for evaluating effectiveness of the program by evaluating key performance indicators (KPI) to determine the effectiveness of the education/training programs
Lead conference calls and webinars to educate and support caregivers at all levels of the enterprise
Cultivate peer-to-peer support among trainers and foster relationships with site leads and administrators
Develop and lead learning communities
Closely collaborate with leadership at local and regional ministries and system level around education related to whole person care to ensure success of the program
In this role contribute to the key strategic initiative of the IHC and CCPH division.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Master’s degree in health care, a clinical field, public health, business, or related field.
Minimum of six (6) years of related experience in program management
Strong communications, organizational, verbal and writing skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products.
Demonstrated planning and project and program oversight/managements skills.
Demonstrated track record of leading through influence for key strategic initiatives.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
1-2 years of experience in health care delivery.
Project management, LEAN, CAP and other change management certifications.
