Providence Program Manager, Institute for Human Caring in Gardena, California
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Program Manager, Institute for Human Caring (IHC) to our location in Gardena, CA or any state where Providence is located ( WA, OR, NM, TX, AK, MT).This is a Part Time (20 hours/week),Temporary position.
We are seeking a Program Manager IHC who will be responsible for the implementation of clinician guidance for the evaluation and care for patients with gender incongruence including those seeking gender-affirming treatments, to ensure that patients presenting to PSJH practice and ministries receive timely, equitable and high quality care in accordance with established clinical standards, best practices, Catholic teachings and ethics. This Program Manager will work in collaboration with leadership within PSJH, subject matter experts (both internal and external) and Patient Family Advisory Council (s) (PFAC) to coordinate the development of learning objectives and curriculum based on best practice for clinicians providing specialty care for transgender and gender diverse patients and for all providers and caregivers on basic elements of quality to include focus on enhancing sensitivity and reinforce gender-affirming attitudes and communication skills. This position in collaboration with IHC Analytics, will develop key performance indicators to determine program effectiveness for evaluation plan for ongoing monitoring and measurement for project performance.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Accountable for managing multiple projects related to the planning, development and implementation of a broad awareness training for non-clinicians and evidence based training curriculum for clinicians and providers on caring for patients with gender incongruence including those seeking gender affirming treatments, to ensure that patients presenting to PSJH practice and ministries receive timely, equitable and high quality care in accordance with established clinical standards and best practices
Responsible for the coordination of curriculum development for providers, clinicians and non-clinical caregivers consistent with best practices and Catholic teaching and ethics.
Work closely with the Institute and system level leadership to develop and monitor key milestones and results to ensure that project meets specified objectives within constraints of scope, time, budget, and quality.
Work with project leadership to advise and participate in the planning, development and implementation of education and socialization programs.
Establish and maintain effective relationships and communication with a broad stakeholder and champion base within PSJH.
In collaboration with the Institute’s Measurement and Analytics Team, develops key performance indicators to determine program effectiveness for ongoing monitoring, evaluation and measurement for project performance; and notifies stakeholders of problems affecting timelines and resources.
Network with system-wide peers in Project Management, Change Facilitation, Communication, IS, and others to share tools, lessons learned and best practices.
Required qualifications for this position includes:
Master's Degree in health care, clinical field, public health or related field.
5 years of experience in a health care setting .
