Providence is calling a Collaboration Applications Administrator – Exchange to Providence Health & Services in Irvine, CA, Lubbock, TX, or Renton, WA

We are seeking a Collaboration Applications Administrator – Exchange to strengthen One Ministry Committed to Excellence by delivering a robust foundation of common technology services and sharing specialized expertise.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Performs daily operational tasks on the Exchange messaging system.

  • Able to define and meet their own goals considering organizational mission, quality, budget, customers, financial results.

  • Builds constructive and effective relationships and can identify others’ needs for information and communication. Can adapt communication style to meet needs of others.

  • Takes initiative to communicate issues and concerns to business partners, peers, and customers.

  • Collaborates with peers to create and maintain documentation; documenting work flows with the purpose and audience in mind using MS Visio.

  • Diagnoses existing and potential issues while monitoring system/application health and participates in root cause analysis. Understands cause and effect

  • Understands and builds test plans and collaborates in developing them. Acts as a resource during testing and upgrades; coordinates with appropriate individuals.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

  • 4 years of Information Services experience.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange in an enterprise environment.

  • Working knowledge of Active Directory.

  • Experience with Methodologies related to application management such as system deployment, support, and life cycle.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Lync to support a consolidated or extended configuration.

  • Working knowledge of Windows environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage integrate multiple disciplines and stakeholders in the development and implementation of complex project

  • Demonstrated ability to implement strategic initiatives with an emphasis on employing software solutions that provide business value.

  • Experience with application administration with Windows-based systems in an environment where availability is critical.

  • Proficiency with the MS-Office suite of products.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • MCP/MCSE.
