This is NOT your typical traditional healthcare project/program management position. You will be working with high-performance teams in an agile environment expanding beyond virtual desktops and apps to define our next generation workspace. You’ll put your experience and ideas to work every day, tackling a wide scope of responsibilities for multiple small and medium-sized projects. The projects you’ll be leading include IT infrastructure migrations such as virtualization, remote connectivity, application delivery, device management, etc. The ability to understand the big-picture view and stay laser-focused on outcomes while also paying attention to the details are vital; and a curious, collaborative attitude is a must. We want to see you understand the “why” behind our team’s work and strive for clarity in what our team and stakeholders are trying to achieve. You will serve as a facilitator for your teams and proactively look for barriers that stand in the way of momentum. You are passionate about agile methodologies, data-driven decision making, and supporting team members’ transition to Scrum best practices. Our successful transition to leverage the latest cloud and virtual workspace technologies depends on your ability to successfully develop detailed project plans, facilitate our team’s work, and proactively communicate project health to the team, senior management, and executive leadership.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Solution and Service: Creates design options for features. Uses defined sources and their own judgment to generate caregiver/partner insights.
Solution and Service Design: Creates, evolves, and communicates feature specifications that align to the vision and enable engineering peers to conduct their workflows. Applies technical, functional and caregiver/partner knowledge to deliver feature specifications that are complete, understandable, technically sound, and implementable.
Caregiver lifecycle: Produces tools and materials for features that will be used by caregiver support or marketing to drive education and adoption. Produces demos and trainings for caregiver customers, internal stakeholders and partners.
Engineering lifecycle: Applies the engineering lifecycle to feature design, including task estimation, design review, specification review, triage bars and schedules, and performance standards. Uses a systematic method to provide accurate time estimates.
Solution and Service ownership: Has a sense of pride and personal accountability for end-to-end quality, completeness, and resulting user experience for the life of the solution/service. Identifies unaddressed issues and resolves, escalates, or finds the appropriate owner to ensure the highest level of quality. Uses the solution/service regularly to understand it thoroughly and discover ways to improve it.
Program Management functions: Manage small to medium sized programs or contribute to large and complex programs. Skillset includes: Problem solving, analysis, design, risk management, documenting business process, collaboration and communication.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent education/experience.
3 years in related experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent Agile certifications highly preferred
Experience using PowerBI for business intelligence analysis/reporting highly preferred
Experience using Agile work management and reporting software such as: Microsoft Azure DevOps, JIRA, or equivalent
Experience eliciting high-level requirements from both business and technical stakeholders and translating those into a detailed, prioritized, actionable backlog of work for systems engineers and technical team members
Ability to clearly identify and articulate project status, identify complex blockers, and work with a sense of urgency to mitigate unexpected issues, when they arise
Experience developing detailed plans and strategies for infrastructure migrations such as virtualization, remote connectivity, application delivery, device management, etc. with the ability to manage though complexities
Experience supporting Azure/AWS Cloud migration project teams through successful closure
