Providence is calling a (Full Time, Day Shift) Regional Director Corporate and Foundation Relations for a position at Providence Foundations, Southern California Region
Office location: Irvine, CA.
In this position you will:
Under the direction of the Southern California Regional Executive Director, Advancement Services, for Providence St. Joseph Health Foundations, the Southern California Regional Director, Corporate & Foundations Relations will serve in a senior fundraising role and will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive program that will include Federal, State; local, corporate, and private grant funding.
Have primary responsibility and accountability for the strategic coordination of all grants for the Foundations in the Southern California Region.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field, preferable in business, finance or related management field
10 years development experience with a minimum of five to seven years leading multi-million dollar grant fundraising efforts
8 years proven leadership experience, direct or indirect, in motivating teams to action, garnering support and buy in, high engagement and excellent communications
Proven ability to successfully manage a multi-unit, complex environment, resulting in significant improved development performance and growth
Proven ability to lead and manage a team who reside in multiple localities
Demonstrated record of successful corporate and foundation giving solicitations, including the design and execution of identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies
Highly motivated self-starter, entrepreneurial team player who has a commitment to and passion for the mission of Providence St. Joseph Health Foundation
Effective and successful experience working with volunteers, providing strong support, inspiring action, and continued dedication to the development and organizational mission
Superb communication skills (both written and oral); the ability to articulate the vision, mission and case for support of Providence St. Joseph Health Foundations
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Certified as a Fund Raising Executive (CFRE)
