We are seeking a Regional Manager, Donor Relations who will develop and execute a comprehensive, strategic donor relations program for Providence's foundations in the Los Angeles area: Tarzana, Holy Cross, Saint Joseph Burbank, and Little Company of Mary. Responsible for gift acknowledgment, gift stewardship, donor recognition and donor engagement to further the foundations' fundraising goals.
In this position you will:
Provide writing and editorial support for all stewardship efforts for the Los Angeles area foundations
Manage the gift acknowledgment process for the Los Angeles area foundations, using best practices to thank donors in a manner appropriate to their gift, ensuring that all communications are timely, meaningful and documented in the donor’s record
In collaboration with local foundation teams, create, track and document individualized stewardship plans for donors
Collaborate with special events team to execute local stewardship and recognition events at the Los Angeles area foundations, providing strategic counsel on invitation lists and event elements including scripting/remarks and donor awards
Manage communications materials and program standards for the facilitated access programs at the Los Angeles area foundations
Manage and execute a donor recognition program for the Los Angeles area foundations that encompasses recognition, society events related to recognition and stewardship, endowed chair installations, and capital naming dedications
Manage local inventory of donor recognition named spaces and giving levels with an emphasis on parity, consistency and adherence to guidelines
Manage annual updates for all donor walls for the Los Angeles area foundations, ensuring quality, consistency and compliance
In collaboration with the Foundation Messaging team, recognize and promote donors in internal and external print and digital publications, as well as impact reporting and extraordinary stewardship opportunities as needed
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field (i.e., communications)
6 years Progressive work experience in stewardship/donor relations
4 years Leadership experience
Demonstrated experience working within time-intensive, results-oriented environment.
Demonstrated leadership and motivational skills to develop staff
Able to appropriately address dynamic priorities with sound judgment
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with outside vendors, Foundation staff and hospital staff
Excellent communication and relational skills
