Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Senior Analyst, Costing and Insight PSJH .
We are seeking a Senior Analyst to be responsible for the preparation and analysis of system wide costing and auditing. Determines and implements cost accounting procedures and methods.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Determine and implement cost accounting procedures and methods. Examines and reviews unusual cost records and ensures cost data is allocated correctly.
Maintain the System costing methodology and facilitating the annual and monthly costing process with the costing team.
Covering for daily loading of financial and patient data into the Decision Support/Cost Accounting system. Responsible for publishing master costing audit reports for the decision support system. Interprets cost audits, and prepares cost accounting reports for presentation to top management.
Lead the RVU collection process providing education and support to service line leaders and regional finance teams in the development of costing standards. This includes meeting with managers, which may involve traveling to regions.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to provide ad hoc financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions. Act as an internal financial consultant and trusted business partner to provide financial guidance, analysis, data, strategic and tactical analysis and recommendations.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in healthcare, decision support, finance, nursing, medical records, IT or equivalent work experience.
5 years of previous cost accounting, business & financial analysis, planning & project management experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 2 years of previous experience with decision support and cost accounting in the healthcare industry supporting operational departments.
