Providence Health & Services Senior Business Development and Finance Analyst in Irvine, California
Providence St. Joseph Health and the Ambulatory Care Netw ork are calling a Senior Business Development and Finance Analyst to join our location in Southern CA, Seattle, WA or Portland, OR.
We are seeking a Senior Business Development and Finance Analyst to join our fast paced and nimble Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) team. As a key member of our ASC Business Development team, will help in our efforts to create and build financial models, develop executive level presentations, and assist with merger and acquisition process for ASCs across our 7 state West Coast markets. This individual will work closely with our business development and finance leaders on new ASC business opportunities and be actively involved in new service line and facility development. Activities will include analyzing acquisition information, building valuation models, drawing insights and conclusions from multiple data sets, and preparing and communicating reports and presentations. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who can thrive in ambiguity, proactively solve problems, and drive data-driven insights to inform decision making.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Supports the business development leaders with target opportunities by developing, understanding and adapting valuation models to those opportunities.
Prepares market analysis of specific geographic areas to determine growth prospects
Develops strategic pro formas in support of acquisition, re-syndication, and de-novo ambulatory surgery and imaging centers.
Partners with payor contracting to understand and model market specific reimbursement.
Supports the Business Development department by maintaining tracking tools and participating with other corporate departments during due diligence
Performs ad hoc analysis as needed.
Utilizes cost accounting and other Providence reporting tools to support regions in ambulatory growth opportunities (Health 2.0)
Analyze market trends such as changes in ASC eligible procedures and changes in payor behavior (redirect to from acute to ambulatory)
Builds executive level presentations for investment and growth committees, ACN leaders, and site level board of directors
Collects and analyzes information from 3rd party partners and internal stakeholders.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
5 years closely related finance or accounting experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics or;
Coursework/Training: CPA, CFA, or ABV certifications.
