We are seeking a Financial Analyst II who will compile and analyze financial and operational data, developing reports to support financial and business analysis and strategic decisions. Position will support budgeting, financial planning, physician compensation, performance monitoring and performance management functions within the organization. Position requires combined application of accounting skills, business knowledge and advanced systems skills to perform and lead complex analysis while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data. Position will seek to streamline and create reporting efficiencies within organization through use of various systems, software applications and web-based opportunities. Position may provide guidance and assistance to other analysts as required. This position will require greater analytical and communication abilities due to the more complicated nature of assignments. This position will also be expected to demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills via participation in work groups. Position will be expected to maintain confidentiality of all data sets.
In this position you will:

Interact with users, management and staff to identify reporting needs and produce solutions
Provide leadership and guidance to other staff as required
Provide leadership in the design and development of reporting tools utilizing various systems and software applications
Develop and maintain reports to support month-end financial statements, monthly departmental performance reporting, and statistical performance reporting
Develop reporting tools and supports the annual budget development process
Perform analysis of financial and operational activity to support all aspects of the business
Performs complex queries, reports, and graphs in Excel, Access and SQL, employing best practices to validate and confirm the accuracy of data
Responsible for various routine reports and analysis as well as other special projects
Create analyses designed to enhance the timely sharing of meaningful performance information to the decision-makers. Goals: improved financial and/or operational performance such as improved productivity, enhanced utilization, and improved patient care/satisfaction
Ensure the accuracy of data represented in reports through various means of validation and meta data management reviews
Ability to multi-task, complete projects and meet deadlines
Complete various special projects as assigned
Establish new reporting relationships as the need arises
Continually suggest areas for reorganizing workflow to achieve economies of scale and efficiencies
Interact with all operating departments so that appropriate information is shared and information can be provided to monitor performance and enhance results
Anticipate and achieves problem solving for possible adverse circumstances or events
Work to integrate operating and financial reporting as required
Share financial/operational information as appropriate to all operating departments on a regular and open basis
Complaint are researched and responded to the same day if possible
Request from other departments are responded to in a timely, friendly and positive manner
When possible, take the initiative to offer help to co-workers in overload situations
Physicians and co-workers are treated courteously
Report promptly any suspected or potential violations to laws, regulations, procedures, policies and practices, and cooperates in investigations
Conduct all transactions in compliance with all company policies, procedures, standards and practices
Demonstrate knowledge of all applicable compliance and legal requirements of the job based on the scope of practice of the position
Excellent attendance record
Wear appropriate clothing for job functions
Work at maintaining a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with staff and physician offices
Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner in the community

Qualifications:
Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or five or more years combined experience in the area of financial analysis and health care reporting in ambulatory health care setting
Mathematical aptitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong accounting and project management skills
Advanced skills in PC applications for data analysis (specifically spreadsheet and database systems (MS Excel, MS Access and SQL Query)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team and with users, management and staff
