Clinical Coordinator - Cardiac and Vascular Interventional Laboratory

Location: Orange, CA

Work Schedule: Full Time - 80 Biweekly Hours

Shift: 10-hour, Days

Under the direction of the Department Manager, the Clinical Coordinator provides an optimal practice environment for the care of patients. Expertly uses the nursing process to oversee care for patients on a particular unit and participates in patient care as needed. Plans, organizes, controls and coordinates the department activities for a shift ensuring high quality patient care and efficient, cost effective service.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree inNursing. Current Clinical Coordinator employees may retain a non-nursing bachelor's degree but they may not be promoted to higher level nursing positions.

  • 2 years recent experience in an acute hospital setting.

  • Current California Registered Nurse License.

  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider.

  • Professional certification is required in area of practice or a related field. If promoted into the role, employees have 6 months after exam eligibility to obtain the certification.

  • Cardiac and Vascular Intvntl Lab, 757000-J01:• Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).• Current NIH Stroke Certification.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing.

  • Leadership experience.
