Providence Health & Services Department Secretary - Day Care in Tarzana, California
Providence is calling a Per Diem, Day Shift Department Secretary to Providence Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, CA.
In this position you will:
Report to the Director of Maternal Child Health and provid support to the Managers of NICU, L&D/OB and Pediatrics/PICU.
Be responsible for providing superior patient/customer satisfaction, ensuring the highest quality care and service.
Provide diversified, complex and moderate to high volume administrative/secretarial support, project coordination and maintains a strong link between department, community and hospital management.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training
5 years experience as an administrative assistant and/or coordinator with increasing levels of responsibility
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement special projects
Ability to perform all office tasks including typing, scheduling, filing and record keeping
Computer expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other appropriate software
Ability to plan, implement and represent the hospital at community activities and functions
Ability to function at high-capacity with minimal oversight
Current LA City Fire Card within 30 days of hire
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
